Review – Reflect – Renew: Project Insight Gained and Lessons for the Future

Every two years since the late 1990s, PMSA has hosted its National Conference as a means of facilitating professional development and learning amongst its members, and for the greater project management fraternity.

Now in its sixth ‘edition’, the PMSA conference has grown over the years in terms of its content and format, while continuing to follow a winning recipe that appeals to a broad range of practitioners and researchers and their particular knowledge requirements.

A popular component of the conference format is that is brings international thought leadership to a local audience, as a local price. These presenters are selected not only for their global reputations, but also for their knowledge of the South African project management industry, so that they share their vast knowledge and experience in the context of the South African environment.

As an autonomous professional association for project managers, PMSA has a duty to set this conference apart from similar commercial ventures.  It does so by ensuring the integrity and quality of the conference content by applying a review process for all submissions.
